Tools: Affinity Designer Client:Panorama Data:The sociology of infertility and demographic rejuvenation: a Romanian perspective on the return for the state budget of public investment in conceiving a child through in vitro fertilization, by Bogdan Bucur, for the SOS Infertility Association. This project presents findings from a study on the economic impact of state support for in vitro fertilization (IVF). The research found that Romania could recover up to 26 times its investment in IVF through future economic contributions from people born with assisted reproduction.
I chose colors like flesh tones and soft pinks to reflect the topic while keeping the design professional. The main success of the visualization is turning a detailed academic study into one clear infographic that shares the key findings in an easy-to-understand way.
This project shows how visualization can turn complex economic and demographic research into formats that help public discussion and policy decisions. It could even influence important choices about healthcare funding.
