I made this infographic as a gift while visiting the United States through the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). As a Romanian representing my country, I wanted to share something meaningful with the people I met: a visual that highlights the connections between Romanian and American innovation.

 

The project highlights remarkable people who connect these two cultures. It features Romanians who moved to the United States during World War II and the Cold War, making important contributions to their new country while keeping their Romanian roots. By showing their inventions and achievements, the infographic celebrates cross-cultural exchange and shared creativity.

 

I chose a circular petal chart to show different areas of achievement. By chance, the colors I picked for these areas matched the Romanian flag, which created an unexpected visual link to the cultural theme.
